If you miss the train I'm on, you will know that I have gone.....

We are camping in Crossville, TN.  But I'm jumping ahead.
We left Oshkosh on Monday and drove to Bloomington, IL where we stayed for the night.

Wild flower or weed?
It was a long day, but we managed to get hooked up and inside before the bugs ate us alive.
Yes, I am

The next morning, Tuesday, there was a light rain falling, so we got a little damp unhooking and getting ready to exit IL.  It wasn't long before the rains came, first a light rain.  Cary says "this will be good for the farmers."

And of course I had to reply " there's not enough rain to make any difference.  Even if it rained like this all day it would probably be only an inch."....

Famous last words......

It rained, it poured all day long.  It rained in IL, it rained in KY and it rained in TN.  It was a long, long and very wet day.  We stopped for the night in Clarksville, TN and set up in the .......rain.  :-/

 Wednesday:
Rise and Shine!  It's a new day and guess what?  It wasn't raining!!!
Our destination is Crossville, TN where we planned on visiting with some friends.  There's one large glitch in our plans.  The 500 mile HW 127 Yard Sale starts Thursday and goes through the week-end.  This once a year event starts in Michigan, goes through Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee and I'm not sure where else.  Any way, I called campgrounds and finally hit pay-dirt on the third one.  Whew!

When we arrived and checked in we liked the place a lot.  Quiet, even though it was full, shady spot, cable, 50amp and sewer.  I went back to the office after lunch and asked if we could add 3 more nights to the 2 we already paid for.  After some figuring and finagling, she worked it out.  So we're here till Monday morning and may come back next summer for a month.  Anyone interested in joining us?

We caught up with friends, Wayne & Donna and visited for a while before heading out for dinner.
Mexican Food Restaurant, Roma's

I had the Enchiladas Jesus Maria.  3 cheese enchiladas with beef, onions and peppers on top and red enchilada sauce.

Cary got some "Special Dinner".  Can you believe this?  So much food, like one of everything.  Prices were cheap and food was good.

After dinner it was time to get the truck washed.  After all the rain, it was a dirty, muddy mess.  So off to the car wash we go.
At least its not raining.

Cloudy most of the day, the sun peeked out.....

Tomorrow (Thursday) we'll tackle the 127 yard sale.....
