This is us parked at the SOITC (Suite Owners International Travel Club) Rally in Goshen, IN. The leaks in our rig a fixed, we hope. Do I sound a bit skeptical?
We went to a dinner last night at the rally, even though our rig was still parked in the factory lot. It took them awhile to find the origin of the leaks, so we didn't actually get parked at the fairgrounds till today.
There are 137 trailers here and a whole lot of people, most are retired, and we've met several that are full-time RV'ers.
Here's an odd note, there were 4 rigs in the factory lot. Of those, 2 were full time and both couples are missionaries. So our first night at the rally we are sitting at a table of 8 and the couple sitting next to us were full timers and also missionaries. I have never met so many people on missions! Getting a little strange....
We made it to a margarita party and then a dinner sponsored by some company we don't remember....
This is half of the crowd that had dinner last night.
So after we got here today, set up and cleaned up, we had a box lunch:
There was an ice cream social we didn't go to just to omit the calories and then dinner sponsored by DRV. There was free beer and all I can say is it is amazing what some people will do for a free T shirt....yikes!
Not much exciting news, I'll try to pick up the pace next time ;-)
