We are now parked in Traverse Bay RV Resort, just outside of Traverse City, MI. Very pretty and well maintained resort. It's what they call a condo resort, where the lots are privately owned and can be rented out by the association management if the owner so desires.
It has big sites, lots of ponds, great landscaping and resort amenities.

We have a nice site that has a paved patio and really nice landscaping. We had to spray like crazy when we got here as there were ants all over the place. We even had someone come over and spray. They are pretty much diminished now.

A funny thing happened on the way to the clubhouse. As I was walking up to get someone to come spray, I passed another DRV (our 5th wheel manufacturer) and stopped to talk to the guy as he was finishing setting up. Asked him if he was at the rally we just attended. We got talking and he just seemed familiar. His wife came out and said, Hi, I'm Audra. Then it hit me. We met this same couple last year at a campground in Polson, Montana! Pretty amazing don't you think?
We took a stroll around the campground/resort and decided it was one of the top 2 or 3 places we have stayed. We settled in and enjoyed sitting outside for awhile.
Cary decided to defrost the freezer and used the hair dryer. He was done in no time. Great idea!
Nothing much on TV with the 70+ cable channels. Good thing I brought along the 4 new seasons of Survivor on DVD.
We decided to go out for lunch today to a 'bisto' in the warehouse district that I read about in Traverse City magazine. We parked on the street and couldn't find the place so I stopped in an antique shop to ask where it was, and guess what I found...

We found the bistro and got a table. Neat place with a modern warehouse feel.
There was a variety of art on the wall by local artists, all for sale. A little bakery and a nice bar with lots of wood and corrugated steel.
We are back at the traveling home and here for the rest of the day.
Another great day on an amazing Midwestern Adventure!
